Ahmad Shahzad vows to come back stronger

Pakistan opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad has vowed to come back stronger after his side Habib Bank Limited (HBL) lost to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) at the Departmental One Day Cup in Karachi.
Shehzad, who was leading the HBL, said that his team would fix their issues and return stronger in the next season of the Departmental One Day Cup.
“This is not the result we wanted..I know that my team fought hard and played like champions. In our farewell meeting just now, we all agreed to raise our spirits and fight harder for next season because we hate loosing. We’ll fix our issues and come back stronger,” Shehzad said on social media.

SNGPL won by four runs after HBL were all out for 286 runs, against the target of 290. Asad Shafiq was the leading run scorer for SNGPL, after hitting 119 runs against the HBL. This was Asad’s second consecutive century in the tournament.
