Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar assured FATA Senators that development work in tribal areas would remain continued and furthered in consultation with FATA Senators. The government believes in democracy and people's empowerment and the public representatives would be consulted in every initiative with regard to progress and development of FATA", he added.
He was talking to FATA Senators, who called on him, at Governor's House here on Monday. Malik Rashid Ahmad Khan, Abbas Khan Afridi, Mohammad Idris Khan Safi, Hafiz Rashid Ahmad, Haji Khan Afridi, Maulana Mohammad Saleh Shah and Maulana Abdul Rashid raised some issues related to development work in FATA. He said that the annual development programme for FATA has been prepared with the co-operation of FATA parliamentarians and they would also be involved in the implementation process particularly monitoring of the development projects.
