Pakistan facilitates Hindus for performing rituals at Katas Raj

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Evacuee Trust Saddique -ul-Farooq Monday said Pakistan was facilitating Hindu community for performing their religious rituals at Katas Raj Temple but on the other side India was not issuing Visas to Pakistani pilgrims wanted to visit Ajmer Sharif.
Talking to PTV, he said it should be cleared to the world that India which claim itself as a secular state, was not issuing the visas to Pakistani pilgrims to visit Ajmer Sharif.
He said development work was underway at Katas Raj Temple by Avacuee Trust that includes construction of 32 rooms, restoration of water supply at Holy pool.
He said almost 175 Hindu pilgrims would visit Pakistan on Feburary 11, for performing their religious rituals at the Temple.
Saddique ul Farooq said Pakistan would provide all kind of facilities including residence, food, medical and holy bath to the Hindu pilgrims during their rituals.
He said Katas Raj area had a great historical importance and combination of four civilizations including Hindu,Sikh, Buddhism and Islam.
He said Pakistan is an Islamic Republic state and strongly believes in serving the humanity.
