Treatment to patients: dengue control body chief warns against negligence
Chairman Dengue Control Committee Nishter Town, Naseer Bhutta has said that those people and institutions who serve the ailing people are the asset of the nation. He lauded the services of Chaudhry Rahmat Ali Trust Hospital especially the treatment facilities being provided to the dengue fever victims and hoped that the medical community would continue their services with the same spirit.
He also directed the administration of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to further improve the diagnostic, treatment and hygienic facilities in dengue wards of the hospital. He expressed these views during his visit to LGH and Chaudhry Rahmat Ali Trust Hospital, here today. Bhutta said that early recovery of dengue patients was the top priority of the Punjab government and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
He visited the dengue wards and inquired about the health of the patients individually as well as about the facilities being provided to the patients. He assured the attendants of the patients that surprise visits would be paid at LGH to examine the treatment facilities being provided to the patients in the dengue ward. Earlier, Bhutta directed the Nishtar Town Administration to conduct spray regularly to improve the cleanliness and hygienic conditions.
