Children Complaint Office, Ombudsman Punjab arranged an awareness workshop with street children in relation with "World Literacy Day. According to details on the directions of Secretary, Ombudsman Punjab Farkhanda Wasim Afzal, CCO held a special session on Monday at the bed of River Ravi slum area of Sagian, Lahore with Street and labourers' children to highlight the importance of education.
A large number of boys and girls of the area participated in the session. CCO team highlighted significance of education in child friendly manners and also made them aware that government has provided free education to every child of 5 to 16 years. In this regard for any problem Children should contact immediately to CCO for the redressal of their grievance.
