Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal (PBM) distributed 28,600 relief packs among the flood-affected people in the worst hit districts of Sindh province. Out of the total, 13,600 packets were distributed in district Badin whereas 12,000 and 3,000 were handed-over to the stranded people in Mirpurkhas and Tando Muhmmand Khan respectively, a PBM official told APP, here on Tuesday.
While the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has also distributed tents, blankets, kitchen sets, cans, hygiene kits, mosquito nets, mosquito mats, food packs, drinking water and water purification tablets in Badin, Dadu, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Thatta and Umer Kot.
