Enmity claims two lives

Two people were killed while another received severe injuries in a firing incident early Tuesday morning in a village of tehsil Chunian. According to police, accused Zulfiqar and his five companions resorted to indiscriminate firing on his rival Gulzar and his bodyguard in village Rakh Jhok.
The two men died on the spot while another person Babar Ali received bullet injuries and was shifted to hospital in Lahore in critical condition. Police said the two groups were engrossed in litigation as they had deep-seated enmity against each other. The crime was being investigated by Chunian police.
