MQM contradicts media reports

The Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement has condemned the reports against MQM with regard to assassination of MQM Convenor Dr Imran Farooq. In a press release, it said certain TV channels, newspapers and a news agency have released a concocted, false and baseless report aimed at defaming the MQM. MQM Rabita Committee said it was consulting legal experts to take legal action against those media organisations.
The Rabita Committee further stated that Scotland Yard was investigating the assassination of Dr Imran Farooq thoroughly, therefore the media is requested to avoid speculations.
