RAWALPINDI: The City Traffic Police (CTP) have issued Traffic Plan for Chehlum of martyrs of Khatam-e-Nabuwat to be held on Thursday (tomorrow).
According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, traffic coming from Saddar to Murree Road would be diverted towards Katcheri Chowk and towards Fauji Tower; a diversion would be placed at DAV College Road from where the traffic coming from Liaquat Road and Fawara Chowk would be diverted towards Sadar and Gawalmandi.
Meanwhile, traffic from Marir Chowk to Liaquat Bagh would be diverted to Marir Hassan, Punjab House, Katcheri Chowk and Kamran Market.
Similarly, Traffic coming from Islamabad would be diverted to Rawal Road.
CTO said traffic wardens would not allow the traffic coming from Imambargah Chowk to enter Akbar International Roundabout and divert the vehicles towards Naya Muhallah and Committee Chowk to avoid traffic congestion.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Yousaf Ali Shahid said that in that regard, additional wardens had been assigned to maintain traffic flow.
