Altaf urges Karachiites to foil anti-peace moves

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has called upon Karachiites to show patience and tolerance and foil attempts to disturb peace in the city. He said this during separate conversations with the office-bearers of Malir and Landhi sectors of his party, according to a statement issued by MQM here on Saturday.
He was of the view that criminals along with anti-state elements intend to disturb the tranquil environment in the city. According to the statement, talking to MQM's Malir Sector Committee, Altaf Hussain offered fateha for the victims of violence which took place in areas of Malir on July 22 and also sympathised with the bereaved families.
