Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh police on Friday claimed to have arrested 11 notorious criminals and recovered huge cache of arms, drugs, cash and vehicles from their possession.
According to details, a team of CID on a tip-off raided at different areas of city and arrested Fahim Hussain alias Chapta, Nasir Hussain alias Munawar, Muhammad Faheem, Ahmad, Ilyas Jat, Shahnawaz Channa, Farhan Ali and Jahangir and recovered a Kalashnikov, Rs 0.7 million cash, gold ornaments, three vehicles, repeater, triple-two riffle, 9MM pistol, 2kgs of hashish and several mobile phones from their possession. Police said these culprits were nominated in more than 18 cases of robbery, kidnapping for ransom, police encounters and other notorious crimes.
