Message from Chairman, Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia and CIS, Vice President PRBF

On behalf of the Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia and CIS, I heartily congratulate the people and government of Russian Federation on the occasion of National Day of Russia. We also wish successes in every field of the life of their country.
I also wish improvement in bilateral relations of Pakistan and Russia in the fields of Science, Economics, Education and Culture.
Hundreds of graduates from Russia and CIS are working in all provinces of Pakistan in different professions, including medicine, engineering, business and various other fields.
They are working as good specialists and playing their positive role in the development of Pakistan.
Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia & CIS has been formed to unite all graduates from Russia and CIS on one platform.
Due to different reasons, including unstable political, social and economical situations, most of Pakistani students move towards the western countries to get higher education. Only those students got these opportunities, who were supposed to be financially strong.
The students belonging to middle and lower classes could not get higher education abroad due to their financial problems.
After the victory of the October Socialist Revolution in 1917, the former Soviet Union created a lot of special institutions for serving and providing the best advanced technical, medical, scientific and higher education for the students of developing countries.
But unfortunately Pakistani students did not get opportunity to get free scholarships for education. By changes in the world, as well as improvement in Pakistan-Russia relations, a positive situation has been created for Pakistani students to get higher education from institutions of former Soviet Union.
The number of Pakistani students had increased in Russia and CIS. After completing their higher education most of the students came back to Pakistan and are performing as good and intelligent specialists in their fields.
Basic ideas of the "APGR&CIS:
1. To make their relationship strong among all the graduates who have completed education in Russia and from CIS.
2. To solve the problems of graduates, who are facing problems in recognition of their degrees/diplomas in concerned Pakistani organizations and in getting jobs etc.
3. To make strong relationship with all educational institutions and organizations of Pakistan and Russia.
4. To make cooperation with all Government organizations (Education Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Engineering Council, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, Bar Council, Historical Society and others).
5. To organize the social, cultural programmes, seminars and celebrate national days and other festivals of both countries.
6. Try to improve friendly relations between the people of Pakistan and Russia.
7. To make positive working to introduce graduates in the country, who have completed their education in Russia and from CIS.
8. To make relationship with the Education Ministries and other concerning organizations of Russia and CIS.
APGR&CIS consider Russia a developed country in many fields that have very rich experience in providing education in Medical, Technical, Social Sciences and others; so, we recommend to concerning state, private educational organizations and students to use the opportunities to get all kinds of higher education in Russian Federation.
Association of Pakistani Graduates with Russia & CIS is playing an active role in the strengthening (improvement) in the economic, trade, science/educational and social relations between Pakistan and Russia.
Once again I congratulate the Russian people and Government on their National Day.
