Scholarship cases of 99 needy students approved

Scholarship Management Committee has approved scholarship cases of 99 needy students for the academic year 2010-11 under HEC-USAID Merit and Needs Based Scholarship Programme. Dr Sohail Naqvi, Executive Director, HEC, chaired the meeting held here at HEC Secretariat, while Dr Arturo Acosta, the representatives of USAID, Dr Abdullah Sadiq, eminent scholar and university representatives were also present.
The selected students are from rural and remote areas across Pakistan and studying at KPK Agriculture University, Peshawar; Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta and also at; Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.-PR
