KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Allah Dino Khowaja on Tuesday took a serious notice of crippling traffic jams in different parts of the metropolis.
He issued special directives to DIG Traffic to take proper measures for ensuring better traffic system particularly on busy roads.
He also said citizens must be informed about affected routs due to development project or accumulated rainwater. He said traffic police with the cooperation of civil administration should ensure to clear accumulated water from all affected roads, and rain emergency plan should be fully implemented.
