National Assembly Budget session: PML-N not to attend house body's meeting
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will boycott the meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly to be held today (Friday) prior to the presentation of the Budget, it is learnt. The party sources said that leader of the opposition in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has instructed the party members not to attend the meeting of the committee in protest against non-implementation of the joint resolution of the parliament.
Rejecting the government's five-member commission, the major opposition party in the National Assembly is demanding an independent probe commission into Abbottabad incident to be constituted in true spirit of the parliament's joint resolution passed on May 14, 2011 in consultations with leader of the opposition.
