ISE index down 3.54 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 3.54 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,750.55 to 2747.01 points. The overall turnover amounted to 89,290 shares as compared to previous turnover of 19,900 shares.
Total 127 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (62) closed in negative territory, 65 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Summit Bank Ltd was 30,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 20,000 shares. The turnover of Dewan Salman Fibres was 15,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 7,200 shares.
