Justice eluding the family of two Kashmiri women, Asiya and Neelofar, who were molested and murdered by men in uniform in Shopian, even after the passing of two years, as the perpetrators have not been brought to justice so far.
According to KMS, the family members of the victims in a media interview in Shopian said that the occupation authorities had been shielding the murderers by publicising false investigation reports throughout the period.
Recalling the fateful day, they said that Neelofar and Aasiya got disappeared when they went to the orchard on May 29, 2009, and were molested and killed by the men in uniform. "The next day their dead bodies were found in mysterious conditions at Rambiara Nullah," they added.
Rejecting the report of Indian Central Bureau of Investigation into the incident, which termed their killings as accidental drowning, they said that its findings were misleading and based on distorted facts.
