ICMAP marks 60th 'Management Accountants Day'

A ceremony was held to celebrate the 60th 'Management Accountants Day' here at ICMAP centre. On the occasion, Muhammad Iqbal Ghori FCMA urged public and private sector to induct management accountants in lieu of conventional accountants. Only Management Accountants can bring organisational efficiency and transparent decision-making in the institutions, he added.
He further stressed importance of management accountants for performance evaluations in order to bring accountability in the institutions. The role of the accountants in regulatory bodies, public sector, utilities and private sector is unavoidable to bring the economy on right track. Zia Mustafa Awan, Tariq Khurshid, Amir Ejaz and Shehzad Awan were also present in the ceremony.
