Indus Motor Company (IMC) unveiled the new 2011 Corolla Altis and GLI Automatic (AT) on May 23. For the first time in Pakistan, Toyota Corolla Altis has been introduced with a Dual VVTI engine with an Eco-Meter which allows its driver to monitor the fuel economy while enjoying the enhanced power and efficiency of a Dual VVTI engine. The drive-train is equipped with a new six-speed manual transmission. Automatic variants are equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The new Altis boasts a very elegant and sleek look with its redesigned fascia which includes dynamic front grill along with sleek head lamps and crystal tail lamps. It is also packed with unique features like trademark Cruisetronic technology, Rain Sensors, Retractable Mirrors along with Backlit Optitron with an Eco-Meter. In a statement issued by IMC, it was stated that the new price of Altis MT and Altis MT (Sunroof) will be Rs 1,719,000 and 1,809,000, while Altis AT and Altis AT (Sunroof) will be Rs 1,809,000 and Rs 1,899,000 respectively.
IMC has also introduced GLi with an AT transmission keeping in view the long-standing demand from its customers. GLi AT is also equipped with Dual VVTI engine with Eco lamp and comes with a four-Speed Super ECT automatic transmission. GLi AT is priced at Rs 1,679,000.-PR
