PPL again clinches KSE's award

Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) achieved another milestone by featuring among Karachi Stock Exchange's (KSE) 'Top 25 Companies' for the fourth consecutive year for 2009. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PPL Asim Murtaza Khan received the award from President Asif Ali Zardari at an event held at the Awan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on May 23 that drew corporate heads of top-ranking local and international companies.
The winners were selected on the basis of a comprehensive parameter, which includes dividend payout, return on equity, compliance with listing regulations and sound corporate governance practices, including Corporate Social Responsibility.-PR
