Sasti Roti 300 mechanical tandoors to be installed by month-end

Chairman Sasti Roti Punjab Muhammad Hanif MNA told that the target of installation 300 mechanical tandoors would be achieved by the end of current month in the province of Punjab.
He further told that under the direction of CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif "Dal and Sasti Roti" rate of Rs 15/- to 20/- is being provided to the low income people and industrial workers through 231 mechanical tandoors installed in the hotels situated in industrial and thickly populated poor areas and katchi abadies of the province.
He said this during a meeting presided by him in the committee room of commissioner office held to review the progress of Sasti Roti Scheme provided by the mechanical tandoors. Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain, MPAs Kh Islam and Rao Kashif Rahim, DCOs Faislabad, Naseem Sadiq, Jhang Shahid Niaz, T.T.S. Javed Iqbal Bukhari and Chiniot Dr Irshad Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director Punjab Small Industries/DG Sasti Roti Authority Maqsud Qadir Shah and officers of concerned govt department attended the meting.
RD Punjab Small Industry Habibulla Sh and DCOs briefed the meeting in detail about the installation and progress of mechanical tandoors, supply of atta and other matters relating to the Sasti Dal Roti Scheme in Faisalabad division. Chairman Sasti Roti Muhammad Hanif Abbasi further told that the sasti roti authority was providing standardised dal roti to the poor masses with missionary zeal to implement the vision of CM Punjab.
He directed the concerned officers that transparent supply of atta to mechanical tandoors, 100 gm weight of sasti roti be ensured and any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. The chair also directed the officers deputed on monitoring of mechanical tandoors be continued in the same spirit and reports compiled by labour, food, agriculture and industries departments be submitted on weekly basis to the sasti roti authority through commissioner office.
He also approved 7 more mechanical tandoors for Faisalabad district during the meeting. Later, chairman sasti roti authority inaugurated Shere Punjab Mechanical Tandoor in Mandi Quarter area and inspected the working of hotel management. MPA Kh Islam, DCO Naseem Sadiq and concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
