Minor changes in slow trade on grain market

Slow trading was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as main buyers kept to the sideline on hopes of decline in the rates, dealers said. Only one change was seen on the cereal side where juwar was quoted at Rs 2400-2450, other items retained the overnight levels due to steady supply position, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 3500 while best quality was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 3550, they said. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 1300 while the better quality rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1350, they said.
