Corn, wheat and soyabean futures traded at the Chicago Board of Trade all were higher in early Monday morning activity, supported by harsh weather at a pivotal time of the planting and growing season, traders said. At 9:37 am CDT (1437 GMT), CBOT July corn was up 19 cents at $7.01, July wheat was up 13 cents at $7.40-3/4 and July soyabeans up 8 cents at $13.37-1/2.
