Government always consulted parties on national issues: Gilani

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that the PPP-led coalition government had always consulted all political forces on major national issues, and succeeded in building a consensus national policy. He was talking to Punjab Governor Latif Khan Khosa, who called on him at his residence here in DHA on Sunday. MPA Mujtaba Gilani and Ali Musa Gilani were also present.
During the meeting, they discussed overall political and security situation in the country. The Prime Minister said the government was pursuing a policy of reconciliation and respected the public mandate of each party.
