One civilian martyred by Indian firing: three Rangers & 12 others injured

A Pakistani citizen was martyred and three Jawans of Chenab Rangers were injured, while 12 other persons were injured seriously in a fresh spell of indiscriminate firing by Indian Boarder Security Forces on Pakistani border villages in Sialkot working boundary's Sucheetgarh and Bajra Garhi Sectors early on Sunday morning.
According to senior Pak Army officials, the Indian Security Forces again started indiscriminate firing on Sialkot border villages early on Sunday morning along the Sialkot working boundary after 12 hours of the first spell of Indian firing on these Pakistani border villages during the night between Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday morning's indiscriminate Indian firing created a panic and harassment among the local people. The Indian forces fired several small sized mortar shells, besides using G-2 guns during this firing, which continued for about two hours. However, the Chenab Rangers retaliated and gave a befitting reply to the enemy.
It was the second incident of Indian firing on Sialkot border villages. Earlier, the Indian Security Forces had also started firing on the above mentioned Pakistani border villages near security during the night between Saturday and Sunday. The Chenab Rangers retaliated and gave a befitting answer to the Indian forces. The exchange of firing between Indian Security Forces and Chenab Rangers continued for about an hour. Senior officials confirmed that as many as 13 persons were injured by Indian firing early on Sunday morning. The injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sialkot Cantt.
