HHRD organises workshop on health care

Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) announced conversion of field hospitals into Mother and Child Health Care Center in flood-affected areas of the country, which would cost around Rs 50 million. Each hospital will cater to around six thousand patients on monthly basis, stated by Fazal-ur-Rehman Country Director of HHRD while addressing a workshop on Health Care organised by HHRD Health Department here on Saturday.
He said that HHRD is moving forward to recovery and rehabilitation phase from emergency. He also informed about construction of about 300 houses in flood affected area, which will be completed and handed over to affected families before Independence Day this year. Dr Shafiq-ud-Din, Health Advisor HHRD explained aims and objectives of the workshop before Country Director's address. Dr Fozia Aziz, Health Co-ordinator HHRD also spoke on the occasion.-PR
