The resignation of Chairman, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), Mushtaq Malik, has been accepted. In this regard, a notification has been issued here by the Establishment Division. Sources told Business Recorder here on Friday that Kamran Afzal Cheema, an officer of DMG Group (BPS-20) has been posted as Federal Ombudsman Lahore region.
He was waiting for appointment in Establishment Division. Imran Ahmed, a DMG group officer of BPS-20, who was waiting for appointment, has been granted three months leaves with full pay. Ishrat Ali of DMG (BPS-19) has been promoted to Grade 20. He will continue serving in Punjab province. Sher Ayub Khan of Secretariat Group, who was working as Joint Secretary Housing & Work Division, has been made OSD, they said adding that M.B Awan, an officer of Grade 21,who was working as DG Privatisation Commission, has been appointed as Senior Joint Secretary, Housing & Works Division.
