Some changes seen in slow business on grain market

Slow business was seen on the wholesales grain market on Thursday as most of the buyers kept to sideline on expectations of decline in the rates, dealers said. On the cereal side, wheat old and new Bardan quoted higher at Rs 2410-2415 and Rs 2425-2430, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side bajra low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 2550 while the best quality did not move any side at Rs 2900, they said. On the seed sector cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1300 and the best variety fell sharply by Rs 50 to Rs 1350, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was unmoved owing the balanced demand and supply position, while the good type rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3550, they said.
