The Sports Committee of State Bank of Pakistan is organising an Inter School T-20 Cricket Tournament from 14th to 21st May, 2011 at SBP Sports Complex, North Nazimabad, Karachi with a view to promoting healthy sports activities at the grass root level. Qasim Nawaz, Managing Director, SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBPBSC) will inaugurate the tournament, on May 14 at 09:30 am in which eight top cricket teams of Karachi as per KCCA ranking will participate.
The first match of the tournament will be played between City School and Kamran Public School on May 14 at 10.00 am while the final is scheduled to be played on May 21 at 2.00 pm. The SBP Sports Committee has decided to award various cash prizes for the best performers of the tournament. Besides trophies, the winners of the tournament will get a cash prize of Rs 20,000 while the runners up will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
