MUMBAI: The Indian rupee fell to a record low versus the dollar for the third day on Wednesday as a slowing domestic economy and Europe's debt crisis hit risk appetite and triggered outflows.
At 9:05 a.m. (0335 GMT), the partially convertible rupee was at an all-time low of 53.71/74, taking losses to 18.4 percent from its year-high in July.
