Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has said that Pakistan and PPP-led government are committed to the cause of Kashmir and to the people of Kashmir. He said while distributing the Scholarship Cheques to the students of Kashmir, that present government is working for the welfare of Kashmiri people in all sectors especially in education.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Kashmir Affairs Muhammad Javed Malik, Joint Secretary AJK Council and others. Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said that 235 students have been awarded scholarship of Rs 10,000 each. He announced the increase of 50 percent in the scholarship for the next year on the demand of the students. He also announced that AJK Council would bear all the expenses of 25 Kashmiri students who would be brilliant in their field and deserving as well.-PR
