OGDCL looking at various options to develop Uch-II project

OGDCL has been accused to ink a US $200 million agreement on Uch-II Project with a company whose top management is under investigation for misappropriation of funds in a section of press. OGDCL is looking at various options to develop its Uch Gas Field for supply of additional 160 MMSCFD gas to Uch Power Limited (UPL) for setting up of another power plant.
Various options were presented to its Board of Directors in the meeting held on April 27, 2011. OGDCL will proceed to develop the gas field after approval of its board in a transparent and fair manner, which best suits the national interest.-PR
