SHANGHAI: Chinese shares fell 0.37 percent in morning trade on Wednesday as investors fret over the slowing domestic economy and Europe's debt problems, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 8.35 points at 2,240.24.
