Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh, Minister for Agriculture, Punjab will review the progress of 'Kitchen Gardening' project launched by Punjab government in a meeting to be held on Friday (today). The meeting will be held at Agriculture House Punjab, Lahore wherein participants will discuss progress on model bazaars and price control mechanism for food items.
According to a spokesman of the department, the minister would be reviewing these projects in two separate high-level meetings. These will review activities/ progress under Chief Minister's Programme for promotion of kitchen gardening along-with managing model bazaars and price control mechanism for food items.
The spokesman said that suggestions/strategy will be finalised in the meeting to expedite implementation of these projects to achieve the targets. He also said that minister for agriculture will also preside over a meeting to review sowing of cotton and its management.
