Wasim Latif, Chairman and Adil Manzoor Ellahi, Vice Chairman Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) have welcomed the induction of Rana Asif Tauseef as Minister of State for Privatisation and have hoped that the problems faced by the exporters and textile industry will be adequately addressed.
In a statement, they said that Faisalabad is the industrial hub and biggest textile centre of the country and the manufacturers and exporters are facing problems like extra ordinary load shedding of gas and electricity. Rana Asif Tauseef is fully aware of these problems. With his induction in the cabinet, the businessmen, traders, industrialists and exporters would be able to establish contact with federal government and their earlier complaints of non representation and negligence of Faisalabad would now be adequately attended. He thanked Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari for giving appropriate representation to Faisalabad and hoped that their grievances and problems would be resolved soon.
