Sehwag eager to watch Amir in T10 League

Former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag is eager to watch Pakistan’s pace spearhead Mohammad Amir at the T10 League, commencing tonight (Thursday) at UAE.
Sehwag, who will be seen leading the Maratha Arabians, in the inaugural 10-overs format tournament was of the view that it’s a new but exciting concept. The former opening batsman was keen to play alongside T20 superstars, including Dwayne Bravo, Kamran Akmal and Lendl Simmons.
“I am pretty excited to return to cricket, but there are cricketers who I want to see including Bravo, Simmons, Rilee Russouw and Kamran Akmal,” he said.
“Furthermore, I want to see Amir bowling in particular, to see what he thinks and plans while bowling,” said Sehwag, quoted local media.
Sehwag opined that in this format one needs proper bowlers and batsman, as it is a skill based format.
