Ambassador designate to Qatar Mohammad Sarfraz Khanzada on Wednesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr and discussed matters relating to his new assignment. The President congratulated the newly appointed ambassador to Qatar and asked him to focus on enhancing Pakistan's economic, trade and commercial ties with Qatar.
The President called upon all Pakistani diplomats to encourage the business community in countries of their posting to avail the liberal incentives package and investment friendly policies of the government of Pakistan. He advised the ambassador designate to also concentrate on exploring new markets to boost Pakistan's exports to Qatar. Pakistan and Qatar already have cordial and close bilateral co-operation, which the President hoped, would further be strengthened with the posting of the new envoy.
