Former Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Friday the Prime Minister should hold an all parties conference to remove the concerns of public on Raymond Davis case before the presidential address to the joint session of the parliament. He was addressing Meet the Press at Lahore Press Club on Friday.
Qureshi said that Prime Minister should take the parliament, nation and party workers into confidence on Raymond Davis case. He urged the Prime Minister to 'unveil the rotten eggs' of Pakistan Peoples Party. He noted that the handling of Davis case has proven correct the concerns carried by him and late widow of Fahim, one of the victims of the killing.
He said the Raymond Davis case has raised many questions on the foreign office, payment of Diyat, investigations on Ibad-ur-Rehman case, change of lawyer by the heirs of victims and later, his mysterious disappearance. He added that all such incidents have distorted public sentiments heavily and have given a message to the world that 'Pakistanis' blood is for sale'.
