ISE Index plunges by 69.77 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 69.77 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,835.70 to 2,765.93 points. The overall turnover amounted to 45,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 88,640 shares.
Total 129 companies participated in buying and selling activities. Majority of stocks (104) closed in negative territory, 25 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Fatima Fertiliser was 25,000 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 7,000 shares. The turnover of United Bank was 3,000 shares.
