'PPP has become Zardari's party'

Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah has said present Pakistan People's Party is neither Z.A Bhutto's nor Benazir Bhutto's party but Zardari's party. Talking to reporters after addressing the inaugural session of Conference on "Public Sector Accounting in Pakistan" organised by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) at a local hotel, Sanaullah said that those who supported a dictator and those who are involved in corruption have joined hands for their vested interests.
He was of the view that the country's political scene has become clear after meeting of PML-Q delegation headed by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein with President Asif Ali Zardari. "Those who hatched conspiracies during dictatorship and those who are involved in rampant corruption are exposed and they would have to face public wrath in next general elections," he said.
When asked about the strike observed by the PPP in Sindh on Friday, Rana said the PPP after having seen writing on the wall made last attempt to use "Sindh Card" by observing strike but such wrong attempts are sure to meet their logical end. Regarding the attitude of the PML-Q and PPP legislators during Friday's session of Punjab Assembly, he said political bankruptcy and non-parliamentary attitude has been exposed before media and the masses. "The opposition did not come up with any logical solution to any issue and just created uproar in the house through shouting," he said, adding.
"The PML-N would show positive and democratic attitude in the house." He said assembly members' foremost duty is to observe the democratic norms and code of conduct of assembly so that they participate in the proceedings whole-heartedly. He said Q-League is not a political party rather it is a "Turncoat League." Answering a question, he said the PML-N made sincere efforts to convince the PPP to mend its ways but they had not shown positive attitude. Everyone knows what the PPP had done during three years, he said.
