At least three persons were killed and one injured in different road accidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to police, two persons were crushed to death by a speedy trailer at Jinnah Bridge in the limits of Jackson police station. The deceased, who were later, identified as Muhammad Ali 28 son of Dil Feroze Khan and Usman 29 son of Ali Akbar, were hit by a trailer when they were going to home from work.
Police said that both victims were the resident of Faqeer Colony Orangi Town area. In another incident, a woman was killed and a man was injured when a speedy Prado (BD9362) overturned at Defence Phase VIII in the limits of Dharaksha police station. According to Rana Amjad, station officer of Dharaksha police station said a speedy Prado upturned at Defence Phase VIII, which claimed a live of Sonia wife of Asad Khoro. He said that another man namely Naeem was also injured in this incident. He said the body of Sonia was handed over to her heirs without completing legal formalities.
