The Swiss franc dropped against both the euro and the dollar on Tuesday, with risk aversion among investors taking a back seat on reports Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was looking for a way to step down. The franc was down 0.6 percent against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.3019 per euro at 0729 GMT. The franc fell 0.6 percent against the dollar to 0.9309 per dollar.
