Apropos news item "OGDCL employees to go on strike today" carried by Business Recorder on Monday the Officers' Association totally refuses and disowns the news. The subject news is totally based on disinformation and fabricated by the reporter concerned by using the name of OGDCL Officers association illegally which is against the ethics and norms of journalism.
In a "CEC" meeting held at Head Office attended by all office bearers strongly condemned the act of your reporter by using the name of our platform without any authority. In a resolution the body has authorised to issue a legal notice to your newspaper for this non-ethical and illegal act otherwise you must issue a clarification in this regard that OGDCL Officers association has no concern with the news item published.
We have also observed that you reporter habitually releases baseless stories time and again without obtaining the version of the company and association and damaging the only profitable organisation.
