Barrister Murtaza, son of PPP leader Fauzia Wahab remained safe in a kidnapping bid in the limits of Bahdurabad police station on late Sunday. According to police, three unknown armed men held Barrister Murtaza hostage at gunpoint by intercepting his car (ASP-992) on Ameer Khusroo road in the limits of Bahdurabad police station.
They said that Murtaza was lucky to escape the kidnapping bid as his car developed serious mechanical faults and stopped at UBL complex near Fazal Mill. Therefore, the unknown kidnappers left him at the spot after looting all his valuables. Meanwhile, Mohsin Hyder, Station Officer of Bahdurabad Police Station said a case had been registered on the complaint of Barrister Murtaza under section 392/34.
