Three people were killed and another three injured in different shooting incidents in various parts of city, Chippa sources said on Sunday. One, Bashir, 60, was killed when some unknown armed persons fired multiple shots on him in Defence Phase 2 area. As a result he died on spot. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical center for post-mortem.
In another incident some unidentified-armed bandits opened fire on Zeeshan, 35, and Amjad, 40, in Orangi Town, 11 -1/2, leaving Zeeshan dead while Amjad sustained injuries. The body and injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment and medico-legal formalities.
A man was shot dead and another injured in Korangi 5 area. Some armed bandits struck the house of Ghulam Nabi, 55, and opened fire. As a result he received bullet injuries and his son Jameel, 35, died on spot. Ghulam Nabi's another son Abdur Rehman, 25, was also trapped in firing. The deceased and the injured were brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medical treatment and autopsy.
