First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL) has chalked out programmes for the International Women's Day throughout the country. The celebration will be held in the Business Development and Training Centers and area offices of the bank.
An exhibition is being held in area office, Lahore, on March 8, 2011. Products designed by the bank's entrepreneurs are being displayed in the exhibition. Asma Jehangir, President Supreme Court Bar Association would be the chief guest.
A similar kind of exhibition is being organised by the Business and Training Centre Islamabad starting from March 7, 2011. Displayed products include designer jewellery, perfumes, formal/casual wear, bed linen, home décor and much more.
A bank stall and help desk is also set up in the exhibition arranged by the Ministry of Women's Development Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar. However, a debate competition is being arranged at the International Islamic University Islamabad. Topic of the debate competition is 'Women Empowerment is necessary for the economic prosperity of the country'.-PR
