Director General Sindh Aleem Akbar Shamim and other directors of BISP Sindh briefed newly appointed Incharge of BISP Poverty Survey Sassui Palejo, Minister of Culture. Sassui said that BISP is working on Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto vision. She said that survey is being conducted on totally non-partisan basis and every deserving family is being registered with the BISP according to Poverty Score Card.
She said that across the country eligible household survey about the family being entitled to relief based family to be conveyed in a transparent manner. DG Sindh Aleem said that Poverty Survey is monitored through Global Positioning System (GPS), through which the quality of every home and culture reality of poverty.
Saussi Palijo said that the notables of every constituencies and area has been given special role in regard with the Poverty Survey and would urge them to help the deserving families get part of the survey. She also said that she would personally contact with MPAs and convinced them to co-ordinate in the Poverty Survey and get the benefits to poor and needy household.-PR
