Industrialists and textile workers took out a protest rally and observed Black Day on fourth consecutive day in the industrial city against the schedule of five-day gas loadshedding in a week issued by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). Almost 600 industrial units including textile processing, printing, dyeing, sizing, weaving and knitting factories remained closed here Wednesday.
The major procession was taken out from Sumandri Road. The protesters were carrying black flags and banners. They also burnt effigies of PPP leaders and chanted slogans against the government. Speakers endorsed that Islamabad Long March will be staged on March 5.
