An explosive device carried by a suspect mysteriously went off in the limits of Sukhen police station. According to the reports, blast exploded in the bushes of the suburb area of Sukhen police station of Shah Latif Town. Police said that blast blown up near MDA flats where police rushed as being heard the bang of blast and found limbs of a man.
The blast has created three feet long and one feet deep crater, police said and added that explosion heard kilometers away from the spot and partially damaged the walls of the house located nearby the site of the blast. When contacted DIG EAST Commander Shaukat said that police had collected the body parts of the suspect and sample of explosive and sent them to the forensic lab for examination.
He opined the deceased, who died in the blast, was the suspect carrying explosive device as his body was completely wrecked and limbs of his body were scattered in the surrounding area. Police suspected that the person died in the blast had planned to target different places, which might be railway tracks, police stations and Razaqabad police training center. Following the blast, heavy contingents of law enforcers rushed on the spot and cordoned off the area and started the investigation.
