PAL compiles book on Faiz

Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL), Punjab chapter has compiled a book titled "Present Global Colonial Situation and Poetry of Faiz", which will be soon published by the University of Gujrat. Deputy Registrar of the varsity Sheikh Abdul Rashid is supervising publication of this book.
The book contains papers read by eminent scholars at Faiz Ahmed Faiz centenary seminar held in Lahore, including articles by I.A. Rehman, Professor Syed Shabbir Hussain Shah, Dr Nizamuddin, Professor Dr Mohammad Arif, Professor Fateh Mohammad Malik, Dr Saadat Saeed, Dr Sughra Sadaf, Dr Zia-ul-Hasan, Hassan Jaffar Zaidi and Dr Ali Madeeh Hashmi. The presidential address delivered at the seminar by Governor Punjab, Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa along-with a preface by Altaf Qureshi is also part of the book.
Another book "Popular Basis of Sufism" containing papers read at Punjab Conference on Sufism held in Lahore in May 2010 by the Punjab chapter of PAL, compiled by the Resident Director, Altaf Qureshi has been published in form of a book. The book contains articles by Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali, Ghulam Farid Kathia, Fakhar Zaman, Dr Nizamuddin, Professor Nabela Kiyani, Khalid Masood, Kazi Javed, Dr Muzammal Bhatti, Professor Dr Mohammad Amin, Professor Hameeda Shaheen, Dr Saadat Saeed, Professor Syed Shabbir Hussain Shah, Professor Nasrullah Khan Nasir, Dr Mohsin Maghiana and Farrukh Sohail Goendi.
